Despite losing out to Oleksandr Usyk twice in 2024, Tyson Fury has made mega earnings. Last year, the Brit lost for the first time in his professional career boxing career.
However, fighting in Saudi, has made him become the third-best Athlete in the 2025 Forbes Highest-Paid Athletes List.
Fury, with $146m earnings, only behind the winner, Cristiano Ronaldo; $275m and proxime assist, Stephen Curry; $156m.
Even Ronaldo has earned big sums from playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
For a boxer, making the top-10 list in any year is hard, as they battle mostly twice or max three times a year.
Without the fight, earnings do not come. And not to forget that football star Ronaldo and basketball sensation Curry hold better endorsement deals than Fury.
Considering this factor, it’s a big win for the boxing world as the sport faces a host of criticism for not making the best fight happen on time.
Fury has not shared any plan for returning to the boxing ring since losing the rematch to unbeaten pro Usyk in December 2024.
However, he has been seen training with his trainer SugarHill Steward recently.
It might suggest that the fight against Anthony Joshua might be possible.
