Teofimo Lopez feels Shakur Stevenson should use the combinations well to outdo William Zepeda on July 12. Other than Stevenson vs Zepeda, the fight fans will see Edgar Berlanga vs Hamzah Sheeraz in New York.
Both Zepeda and Stevenson are unbeaten as pro boxers. Zepeda has won 27 of his 33 fights by KO, with six fighters going to the distance.
Stevenson has won all of his 23 pro boxing contests, with 11 wins by KO. It is one of those fights where somebody’s unbeaten record will come to an end.
Stevenson, who is famous for his amazing boxing skills, is a favourite in most books to win the game. However, Lopez feels that Stevenson needs to use his combination well to win the fight; otherwise, it could be a 50-50 showdown.
Lopez said: “Shakur knows how to box fighters like that, I’m hoping to see Shakur do more combinations. If not, it could be a 50/50 fight.”
Stevenson has the upper hand overall boxing skills, but some feel that Zepeda might be able to take his 0.
