Brian Norman Jr (19-2-1, 17 KOs) will battle against Devin Haney (28-0, 22 KOs, 1 NC) on 22 November 2025. It is the first mega-fight for Norman, who is known for his punching power.
The matchup between Haney and Norman could work as it is a battle between a boxer and a puncher. Norman feels that his power is known, but the ability to box should not be taken aside.
He told The Ring: “Something that people misconstrue about me is they think I’m just a puncher.”
Haney beat Jose Ramirez in April, but the fight did not make him look good. It was being labelled as one of the most boring fights. However, a decent performance against Norman can work.
