Jaron Ennis Professional Career
Jaron Ennis turned professional on 30 April 2016. It was a first-round KO victory over Cory Muldrew at Dixie Center in Utah.
He never signed any deal with PBC, but featured on their shows in the early part of his career beofre signing a deal with Matchroom on 10 April 2024. He fought only in PBC shows in the early 2020s. He is one of Eddie Hearn’s best boxers at present.
He is the unified welterweight champion, holding IBF, WBA and Ring belts. His 30th professional fight against Karen Chukhadzhian on January 7, 2023, made him win the IBF interim welterweight title.
After defending his title against Roiman Villa in July 2018, he was elevated to the IBF welterweight champion as Terence Crawford moved to the next weight class.
In 2024, he retired his IBF title against David Avanesyan and Karen Chukhadzhian. His 35th fight helped him win the WBA and Ring titles, beating Eimantas Stanionis on 12 April 2025. It was a headline show at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Sevreal boxing fans and pundits have no questions over Jaron Ennis’ ability. But he has not fought an elite fighter to win the title. It is not ducking boxers, but Ennis has not had any major fights yet.
Eimantas Stanionis is a decent name, but he is not one of the top fighters in the world. The fight fans want Jaron to prove himself and then make big statements.
His first 19 opponents in the pro ranks do not have a Wikipedia page named after them, which shows that he has not fought competition throughout his career.
