Jake Paul’s last weekend’s points victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in a 10-round fight has given him the WBA Cruiserweight ranking. He is ranked in the 14th spot.
It means he can face the unified cruiserweight champion Zurdo Ramirez for the massive title shot. Jake has improved as a boxer. However, his fighting old fighters has created backlash overall.
In boxing, it is hard to fight many popular faced than Jake. He is 12-1 in the pro boxing world, with his only loss coming against Tommy Fury in 2023.
Jake Paul’s arrival in the WBA rankings has made things work for him to be a candidate to fight against the top names in boxing, and at their prime.
Unlike other social media stars, Jake has given his all to be a legit professional boxer. Hence, some feel that being a 15 in WBA cruiserweight is not bad as Jake has earned it.
