Shannon Courtenay’s amateur career was limited. She completed in just 22 fights. She won the Gold medal at the 2015 Haringey Box Cup.
A year later, Shannon became Southern Area Featherweight Champion. Once she even reached the ABA Championships final, but was not able to win the competition.
Professional Career
Shannon Courtenay turned professional in 2019. She made her debut under the Matchroom banner on 23 March 2019. It was a four-round points victory over Cristina Busuioc at the Copper Box Arena in London.
In 2019, she was pushed well by her first promoter Eddie Hearn to get four more fights and turn 5-0. But in 2020 COVID pandemic stopped boxing for a while.
