Max Kellerman was born on 6 August 1973 in New York, United States, making him 52 years old. Max’s father Harry Kellerman was a psychoanalyst. Linda Kellerman is Max’s mother.

Max went a public school PS 41 in Greenwich Village before moving to Hunter College High School and graduating in 1991.

Max’s higher education came from Columbia University, earning a degree in Bachelor of Arts in 1998.  Even as a teenager, he hosted a TV show Max on Boxing.   • Then from 2004 to 2005, he worked for “I, Max on Fox Sports Net” (CNN). 
  • From 2006 to 2018, Max worked for HBO as a broadcaster. This made him one of the biggest names in boxing with deep historical knowledge. As HBO shut down the boxing business, Max had to leave the job. 
  • From 2010 to 2016, he worked for ESPN’s radio covering boxing. 
  • Then from 2016 to 2021, Max became one of the biggest broadcasters in the US as he joined ESPN’s First Take, where his debates with Stephen A. Smith and other guests on NBA, NFL, Boxing, MMA and others became hits. In 2021,  Stephen A. Smith felt that Max might not be good for the show anymore and hence, he had to leave the famous show. 
  • Then in 2023, Max left ESPN and went far away from the limelight until 2025. 
  • In 2025, he led the media team of The Ring for the Canelo vs Crawford fight and as a result, he joined The Ring to cover boxing.
