Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn sees young heavyweight Moses Itauma beating Martin Bakole without much problem.
Itauma is just 20 years old, but several boxing brains are convinced that he is the future heavyweight star.
The British fighter is 12-0 as a professional, with his latest win coming against Mike Balogun via a second-round TKO on 24 May 2025.
Making his debut in early 2023, Itauma has become a potential world title candidate in two years.
Bakole, who has made his name diminished in 2025 after losing to Joseph Parker and then having a draw with Efe Ajagba, might find himself in a spot where a fight against Itauma might come in future.
Hearn told IFL TV YouTube channel that it’s easy for Itauma to beat Bakole.
He said: “And if he fights a Bakole, I do think he’ll smash Bakole, but if it goes five or six rounds, it might get a little bit interesting. And he’s a big lump, Bakole is. You know, I know he’s on a bad run, but he’s still a very good fighter.”
A section of fight fans feels Itauma can do well against Oleksandr Usyk, who is a heavyweight great.
