Eddie Hearn, who is the promoter of Conor Benn, feels that Chris Eubank Jr. carries the advantage against Benn as the fight is scheduled to happen in the middleweight division.
Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (26 April).
Hearn told IFL TV: “Conor Benn is a big welterweight. In the ring on Saturday night, Chris Eubank Jr. will be between 10 pounds and a stone heavier than Conor.”
On 6 October 2022, both fighters were days away from battling it out. But Benn did fail two drug tests, as a result, it took him to come out of the allegations first and then fight years later.
This is not just a fight, but the carrying out the family legacy as their fathers faced each other twice in the 1990s.
The mega British fight is being seen as one of the biggest boxing events taking place in 2025.
Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) is unbeaten in the professional boxing ranks, while Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KOs) has lost three of his 37 fights.
This is also being seen as the biggest challenge of Benn’s career.
