Devin Haney, the former undisputed lightweight champion, is looking sharp ahead of dancing in the ring with experienced boxer Jose Ramirez in May.
Haney shared the video on social media, hitting the pads ahead of next month’s crucial contest.
This will be Haney’s first fight since having a mega battle against Ryan Garcia on April 20, 2024. Firstly, Garcia did win the fight. However, some days later, an update came about Garcia testing positive for a drug.
This is why the fight result was changed to ‘No Contest’.
However many boxing fans are still trolling him for losing the fight against Garcia, which he did not in terms of official record.
Jose Ramirez has only lost twice to Josh Taylor (May 2021) and Arnold Barboza Jr. (November 2024) in his career, winning the other 29 of 31 professional fights.
Haney has won 15 of his 32 fights by knockout, winning 31 with a no contest.
Not losing the battle against Ramirez can open the rematch with Ryan Garcia for Haney later this year.
