Terence Crawford, who is an unbeaten professional fighter with 41 wins in 41 fights, feels he has all the tools to outdo Canelo Alvarez at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on September 12, 2025.
Canelo vs Crawford is being seen as one of the top fights ever to take place in boxing history. On May 3, Canelo beat William Scull in a 12-round unanimous decision in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was his Riyadh season debut.
Canelo did not have to show much in the fight as Scull ran for all 12 rounds and did not try to win the rounds well.
The 34-year-old Mexican has a stacked resume: 63 wins, two losses, and two draws in 67 professional fights.
Only Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2013 and light-heavyweight Dmitry Bivol in 2022 have been beaten Canelo officially.
Crawford, who is a two-division undisputed champion, will try to become a three-weight undisputed title holder in September.
However, he will jump two weight divisions for the super-middleweight mega clash. It will be the first boxing fight to take place at Allegiant Stadium.
Crawford, after Canelo beat Scull to become a two-time undisputed super-middleweight champion, went head-to-head in the ring with the Mexican great.
When asked what he feels about the fight, Crawford said: “I’m the best.”
There is not much difference between them, but Crawford does not have experience in boxing in the super-middleweight division.
But there are several fight fans who feel that Crawford has the tools to create history and beat Canelo.
