Turki Al-Sheikh, who is the biggest reason behind Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford agreeing to fight, has changed the date of the super boxing fight from 12 to 13 September.
Alvarez vs Crawford is for the undisputed super-middleweight title. Crawford is jumping two divisions to fight the Mexican great.
Early in May, after Canelo beat William Scull, Turki announced the fight to be staged at the Allegiant Stadium on 12 September.
However, on May 14, he posted a tweet on X about the development in the change of plans.
Turki Al-Sheikh said: “I will announce at the right time when and where the big fight Canello and Crawford and in which platform!”

It means that DAZN might get competition from other US-based broadcasters to get the rights for the pay-per-view.
Most of the fights led by Turki Al-Sheikh have seen the direct influence of DAZN getting the streaming or broadcast deal.
As UFC president Dana White is promoting the Canelo vs Crawford, ESPN might get the deal for the US as the UFC has a close relationship with them.
Turki Al-Sheikh is famous for making power moves in boxing, and this can be one such step.
