Journey Before Professional Boxing
Babic started to box as an amateur in 2014 in major competitions. He did win several medals at the Croatian National Boxing Championships from 2014 to 18 in the heavyweight division.
Back then, he started as a sparring professional boxer. While helping Whyte spar for some of his fights, they grew a relationship which helped him turn professional.

Professional Career
Alen Babic has lost two of his 14 professional fights. He turned pro in July 2019, beating Lazar Stojanovic via second-round TKO in Rome, Italy.
Then they had two decent fights before landing a career-changing battle against Shawndell Winters in August 2020. Babic won the boxing contest via a second-round TKO. The captivating impact made him Eddie Hearn’s favourite. For the next two years, he won all of his seven fights.
In 2022, he was offered to fight for the WBC bridgerweight title. But Babic lost it to Lukasz Rozanski in a shock first-round TKO in April 2023. It ended his association with Matchroom as a core boxer of their stable.
