It was a great showdown at Tottenham when Chris Eubank earned a marginal victory over Conor Benn, carrying the legacy of their fathers.
Benn went to the middle-weight from welterweight for having this fight. Eubank looked good, but the boxing experts feel that he should be competing in the super-middleweight division.
Turki Alalshikh, who puts money behind these lucrative shows, confirmed that the rematch will happen on September 20 in London.
However, the venue could be different from the first one. London has several stadiums that can stage this legacy fight.
The victory would make Benn the next big thing from Britain, while Eubank could see it as the next move for the major Canelo Alvarez fight.
Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn said: “I just think the second fight will be even better.”
Other than Craforwad vs Canelo, Eubank vs Benn is one of the top fights.
