Naoya Inoue Next Fight

Naoya Inoue is one of Asia’s best-ever professional boxers. The four-weight world champion is famous for his extreme punch power and overall boxing skills.

Naoya Inoue’s Next Fight is against Ramon Cardenas on 4 May 2025. The undisputed super bantamweight title clash will take place at  T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States.

ESPN is the official broadcaster of Naoya vs Cardenas under the Top Rank Boxing Promotion banner.

However, in Feb 2025, the reported fight to take place was Naoya Inoue v Sam Goodman on 14 June 2025 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Later in Feb, Goodman did take his name back from the contest.

Since becoming undisputed in the super bantamweight division on 26 Dec 2023, where the Japanese pugilist beat Marlon Tapales at Ariake Arena, Tokyo, Japan, this will be his fourth title defence.

The Ring Magazine pound-for-pound number two will fight in the US for the first time since December 2021.

Inoue’s next opponent is not unbeaten in the pro boxing ranks like him. Cardenas, 29, has won 26 (14 KOs) of his 27 fights with one loss to Danny Flores in his 13th pro fight.

Inoue’s boxing pro record is amazing with winning all 29 battles. Not to forget that he has won 26 of 29 fights via KO.

‘The Monster’ moved from junior bantamweight to super bantamweight in July 2023.

After the fight against Cardenas, Murodjon Akhmadaliev is a boxer that Inoue could defend his super bantamweight titles, as Akhmadaliev is the WBA Interim champion (in the same division).

In the United Kingdom, the fight fans want him to jump to the next weight category and challenge Nick Ball for the WBA featherweight title. These are possible fights for Naoya that might take place post-May 4th.

Beating Nick can make Naoya the five-division or quintuple world champion, which is something incredible.
